Toyota is closing the book on the fifth-generation Supra with one final trip across the auction block.
Toyota North America has donated the last-ever GR Supra MkV Final Edition to Reach Out WorldWide, the disaster relief organization founded by the late Paul Walker. The car will be auctioned during the 2027 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit. For the Supra, Scottsdale is a particularly appropriate place to say goodbye.

When Toyota brought the nameplate back for the 2020 model year, the first production fifth-generation Supra was offered at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January 2019. Known as “Global #1,” the car sold for an extraordinary $2.1 million, with proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association and Bob Woodruff Foundation. Now the other bookend of the MkV story is headed to the same auction stage.

The End of the GR Supra MkV
The fifth-generation Supra arrived in 2019 after a 17-year absence from Toyota’s American lineup. Developed alongside the BMW Z4 but tuned and positioned as Toyota Gazoo Racing’s flagship sports car, the new Supra brought the legendary nameplate back to showrooms and motorsports. Toyota continued developing the car throughout its production run, eventually adding a six-speed manual transmission and a series of chassis and suspension improvements.
For 2026, Toyota introduced the GR Supra MkV Final Edition as the farewell model. The Final Edition retains the familiar turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, producing 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, but receives a collection of chassis, suspension, braking and aerodynamic upgrades intended to sharpen the car’s handling.
Changes include revised electronically controlled dampers, updated differential controls, additional chassis bracing, larger Brembo brakes and revised suspension geometry. Toyota also added a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler, carbon-fiber mirror caps and new 19-inch forged wheels. Inside, Alcantara, red stitching, red seat belts and GR-specific details distinguish the Final Edition from the standard Supra.
Toyota limited the MkV Final Edition to 1,300 units for North America. The donated car takes that exclusivity a step further. It is not simply one of the Final Editions. According to Barrett-Jackson and Reach Out WorldWide, it is the final GR Supra MkV produced.

A Supra With a Connection to Paul Walker
The decision to support Reach Out WorldWide also connects the final Supra to another significant piece of the car’s cultural history. Few cars are as closely associated with Paul Walker as the Toyota Supra. Walker’s Brian O’Conner character famously drove a heavily modified orange MkIV Supra in the original The Fast and the Furious, helping transform the fourth-generation car from an already respected Japanese performance machine into one of the defining enthusiast cars of its era.
Walker founded Reach Out WorldWide in 2010 following the devastating earthquake in Haiti. After traveling to the disaster area with a small team, he saw the need for highly mobile groups of skilled volunteers who could reach communities that larger relief organizations sometimes could not.
Today ROWW continues that mission using teams of volunteer first responders and professionals from medical, construction, and disaster-response backgrounds. The organization is now led by Walker’s brother Cody, who has also helped build FuelFest into an international automotive event that supports ROWW.

Back Where the MkV Story Began
There is a pleasing symmetry to Toyota’s choice of Scottsdale. The first production MkV Supra crossed the Barrett-Jackson block there for charity in 2019. Eight years later, the last one will return to WestWorld for another charitable sale. The 2027 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction is scheduled for January 23-31 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
Given the significance of the car, its connection to the end of MkV production, the history between Toyota and Barrett-Jackson, and the Supra’s cultural ties to Paul Walker, the final sale should attract considerable attention from collectors. Whatever number appears on the board when the hammer falls, the final MkV will have accomplished something more important than simply becoming another low-mileage Supra tucked away in a collection. The first one raised millions for charity. Now the last one gets its chance to do the same.
