Artists Ondrej Zunka, footwear designer Salehe Bembury, and Tokyo based fashion label Hender Scheme have partnered with Lexus to create a series of interior concepts that feature space-age mechanisms, organic materials, and multidimensional hues, in celebration of the world premiere of the Lexus LF-Z, an all-electric concept car from Lexus. The Lexus LF-Z, which was unveiled in March 2021, represents the future of the Lexus brand both in terms of styling and its commitment to developing an all-electric luxury crossover.

The Lexus LF-Z Concept
LF-Z Electrified embodies the future of the Lexus brand, so it is exciting to see that future represented by such diverse talent across the design space, each of the collaborators brings a fresh energy that not only reinterprets the interior of the LF-Z but also examines the themes of Lexus’ next chapter.
Brian Bolain, general manager at Lexus International.
Each designer created their own version of the future, based on the simple concept that the LF-Z is a platform for collaboration, introducing a new approach to design, a synergy between art, fashion, lifestyle, and technology that challenges the status quo of the automotive space. The collective of creatives, handpicked by Lexus, exemplifies the different aspects of Lexus’ core principles: future-inspired design, Japanese heritage and takumi craftsmanship, and an enhanced human-machine connection.

Salehe Bembury: blending future aesthetic with organic materials and bright colors.

Ondrej Zunka: seamlessly embracing future technologies rooted in thoughtful consideration.

Hender Scheme: leather craftsmanship rooted in Japanese heritage.
