Land Rover has unveiled its first luxury compact convertible SUV along the iconic coastline of Los Angeles in Santa Monica, CA. SPECTRE actress Naomie Harris was one of the first to view the newest member of the Range Rover family, as it was revealed for the first time ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Following the recent global release of SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure, which features vehicles produced by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations division, Harris joined the brand to receive an exclusive first look at the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible as it debuted in the US.
Marrying luxury with an elegant four-seat convertible design, versatile storage, and unrivaled capability both on and off-road, the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible combines the bold design and refinement of the Range Rover Evoque with a sophisticated folding roof to create a versatile, all-season convertible SUV.

Naomie Harris is a distinguished English actress known for her versatile roles across film and television. Born on September 6, 1976, in London, she began acting as a child, appearing in the television series “Simon and the Witch” in 1987. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Selena in the 2002 film “28 Days Later,” and further captivated audiences as Tia Dalma in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series. Harris made history as the first Black actress to play Miss Moneypenny in the James Bond franchise, starting with “Skyfall” in 2012. Her compelling performance as Paula in “Moonlight” (2016) earned her Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress. In recognition of her contributions to drama, she was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2017.
Naomie Harris, who in her role as Moneypenny has been paired with Land Rover vehicles, including the iconic Defender (Skyfall) and, more recently, the Discovery Sport (SPECTRE), said, “I was so impressed by the design of this car; it’s like nothing I’ve seen on the road before and is so sleek! In celebration of the world debut of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, full-size wireframe sculptures of the newest Range Rover model will be on display in West Hollywood at Le Zinque from Nov 16-17 and on the Santa Monica Pier from Nov 18-20.

She told me she’d been wanting to visit the Larchmont, A cozy cafe five blocks north. I should have driven, But I enjoyed walking with her and didn’t want to admit that the hidden lifts in my shoes were beginning cause pain. She was in heels and her feet clearly were starting to hurt, I offered to call a cab, but she declined, saying “if you called a cab, I would just have it take us back to my place right now, and I am still hungry.” My heart skipped a beat, knowing tonight would be the night.
