The Windup Watch Fair Dallas is one of those watch events anyone can attend; the Fair, which has previously only been held in New York, San Franciso, and Chicago, made a big splash with its first event in the Lone Star State. Renowned for its engaging and accessible approach to horology, Windup Watch Fair celebrated its 10th anniversary by expanding and offering its first event in Texas. Held on March 15 and 16, 2025, at the historic Hickory Street Annex in Dallas, this event marked a significant milestone in the fair’s history. As always, you can’t go to a watch event and not find a cool vehicle or two, a classic Land Rover Defender was parked out front, owned by Mike Pearson, Brand Director for Christopher Ward.

Windup Watch Fair Dallas: A Historic Venue
The choice of Hickory Street Annex as the venue added a unique charm to the fair. Originally constructed in 1921 as a distribution center for Gulf Oil Company, the two-level space boasts classic industrial architecture with modern updates. Its spacious, light-filled interior provided an ideal backdrop for the vibrant displays of over 40 watch brands. As a Gulf Oil fan, and since our apparel company is a licensee, it is by far one of my favorite compounds in Dallas.

Building The Watch Community In Texas
As Windup Watch Fair Dallas opened on Saturday, attendees were greeted by crowds of watch fans. Lines stretched out into the parking area, highlighting the anticipation and enthusiasm of the watch community in Texas, something we have seen with our event Wheels | Watches | Whiskey™. Collectors, enthusiasts, and curious newcomers alike gathered, eager to explore the diverse array of timepieces on display.
Beyond the watch displays, the fair offered a variety of engaging activities. Attendees had the opportunity to sample drinks by Bruichladdich Distillery, talk with watch designers and brand founders, and shop show specials.
