At just 15 years old, Truly Adams has already etched his name in the history books. The young American from Riverside, California, became the first-ever U.S. finalist and podium finisher at the prestigious FEED Racing Volant F4 Finals in France. Competing against a global roster of rising stars, Adams’ performance at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours marked a defining moment, not just in his young career, but for American drivers looking to break into the European open-wheel scene.

From an initial pool of 62 international competitors, Adams was one of six selected to advance to the Grand Final. Racing under wet and dry conditions, he showcased both precision and composure, placing third overall in the “Finale Blanche” session with a 3-lap average of 1:52.297 in the rain. Earlier in the week, he dominated “Battle 2” with a best average time of 1:47.714 on a dry track.

“It felt incredible to be on the podium,” Adams said. “I knew I had the pace, and this competition pushed me to grow. I also learned where I need to improve, especially driving in the rain and working through language barriers. I’m motivated to keep training and come back stronger.”

Truly Adams: The FEED Racing Difference

Founded by Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve and veteran racer Patrick Lemarié, FEED Racing offers something rare in motorsport: a path based purely on merit. The academy’s multi-week competition format eliminates the traditional financial barriers that often define racing careers. Instead, drivers are selected based on performance, skill, and potential.

“In over 30 years in this sport, this was the most fair and equitable competition I’ve witnessed,” said Troy Adams, Truly’s father, coach, and founder of Troy Adams Coaching. “FEED Racing focuses on talent, not status and they are reshaping access to open-wheel racing.”

While Israel’s Yuval Rosen claimed the 2025 FEED Racing title and a fully funded French F4 seat, Adams’ podium earned him a free test day in France, a crucial step toward his goal of competing in the 2026 French Formula 4 Championship.

Truly Adams: A Career Already Packed with Milestones

Adams’ Magny-Cours podium adds to an already impressive résumé. He’s a two-time World Champion at the Tillotson Nations Cup in Spain, clocked the fastest times during the Mexico F4 Series Test, and completed both Introductory and Advanced programs at Skip Barber Racing School, finishing at the top of his class.

In 2025, he was named an Official GoPro Athlete, appeared as the cover model for Regard Magazine’s Automotive Issue, and joined AlpineStars’ motorsports campaign. He also continues as a Factory Driver for RLV and the Factory Karts Shifter Development Program.

” Truly comes in to train ready to work. There are no excuses, and he makes sure not to cut any corners. At MW Athletix, we put him through some of the toughest workouts, and he attacks each one with the same intensity he brings to the track. He understands the grind and that you grind to shine, shine to win, and win so you can eat,” shared Marcus Williams, NFL Safety and Founder, MW Athletix.

Truly Adams: The Road to French F4

Looking ahead, Adams is focused on securing a seat in the 2026 French Formula 4 Championship, one of the most competitive entry points into professional open-wheel racing. With only 30 spots available each season, the program represents both opportunity and challenge.

The estimated $300,000 budget required for participation means sponsorship is essential. Current supporters include GoPro, Simpson Race Products, Stilo Helmets, Regard Magazine, and the nonprofit BNEVO (Building New Emerging Voices & Opportunities), which champions diversity and youth development in motorsport.

For Adams, the journey is only beginning. “This experience showed me what’s possible,” he said. “Now I want to represent my country at the highest level and show that American drivers can compete with the best in the world.”
