The Fugu Z

If you have been following the SEMA show at all, you can’t have missed the story of actor Sung Kang’s 240Z project car the FUGU Z. The car has won numerous awards and has made appearances in several booths around SEMA, TV Shows, and it will now be featured in next Gran Turismo video game.
Love it or hate it the FUGU Z is bringing classic imports into the American “restomod” scene. Enthusiasts have been building these cars for years, but I would expect more high profile classic import builds at SEMA next year.
I got up early before the crowds to snap these pictures. Also check out our own Datsun Z restomod project HERE.
