Video: FY Racing Overcomes String Of Bad Luck For Podium Finish

The FY Racing team broke a string of bad luck last weekend at the New England Forest Rally by placing third overall behind David Higgins and Travis Pastrana.  This result marks the third overall podium finish this season for the pair from Hancock, MI.

“The team is stoked to come away from NEFR with a podium finish behind the two factory Subarus of championship winner David Higgins and Travis Pastrana,” says Adam Yeoman, owner and driver of the FY Racing Subaru.  “Bad luck has struck us on the last two events, with small mechanical issues causing two DNFsFs.  We now feel like our championship is back on track and we couldn’t be happier.”

Even with the setbacks the team has faced this season, the possibility of a second-place finish in the championship is still a very real possibility. “We will be working hard to make sure the car is perfect going into Ojibwe and then our home event LSPR.  We can still secure 2nd place in the championship even with our recent string of bad luck, so it will be a big push for the last two events to try to have our best championship finish since we started just four years ago,” says Adam.

The next event is the Ojibwe Forests Rally on August 22nd and 23rd in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota
