The long standing rumors about Apple’s forthcoming iWatch have been swirling for years. The latest rumors have lead some to believe that a iWatch might be a reality early summer 2014. So why is this on a car blog? With the increase in technology in todays cars the iWatch would allow drivers the ability to check directions while keeping both hands on the wheel, just a quick glance at your wrist and you’ll know if you are on track.

Other advantages include emergency situations where when in a accident your phone could be lost the iWatch would allow for drivers to call for help. Link the iWatch to a radar detector and get a warning via a vibration on your wrist, the possibilities are really endless.

But we will have to see what comes out of the Apple laboratories.
