Persol Re-Releases Classic Motorsports Sunglasses the 1917 Persol Protector

A re-envisioning of the original 1917 Persol Protecto Sunglasses that feature removable eye guards that protect you from dust and wind. The classic round lens, goggle-inspired gunmetal frames, removable elements in perforated real leather, and engraved black temple tips. and Silver Mirror crystal lenses. For more tropical climates the gold metal frame version feature summer-ready linen removable eye guards, Havana acetate temple tips, and green crystal lenses for performance-driven vision.

Persol grabbed attention at the St. Moritz ICE event with teams driving Persol-branded cars wearing the 1917s while sliding around the frozen lake.

The 2023 Persol Protector is available in stores and at Persol.com for $349.
