My brand Morgan’s & Phillip’s has been working with Gulf Oil for a few years now, this fall we are excited to release this limited edition Mechanics Jacket. Working with workwear specialist Red Cap we have created our own interpretation of the jacket that would have been worn by the pit crew in the iconic film Le Mans.
The number one question we get is what does the patch say Sweden instead of USA. That is because, in the film Le Mans, Steve McQueen’s blue rain jacket had a patch that said “Team Gulf Sweden” just like this one.
