Studebaker Racing La Carrera Panamericana

Studebaker as a brand is all but forgotten in motorsports, except for one iconic road race, the La Carrera Panamericana. The original La Carrera ran from 1950-1954 and was so legendary it even lent its name to the Porsche 911 Carrera. The race was revived in 1988 as a vintage even in the style of the original cross-country road race, and the Studebaker Campion has become one of the most popular cars associated with the revival. Studebakers have claimed 24 victories over the last 31 years.
