The race version of the LaFerrari hypercar has been unveiled and it is called the FXXK. This weekend the car will be launched at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and according to Ferrari it is a “uncompromising” race car.  It is wider, longer, and lower than the street version on which it is based, it also comes with a 6.3-liter V12 cranking out 1021bph and the Formula 1 derived KERS energy recovery system giving the FXXK an added boost when in manual mode or it can set to just recharge the batteries.
Want an FXXK in your garage?  You’ll need to be chosen for Ferrari’s driver development program and you need a street version of the LaFerrari in your garage already to even be considered.
