Jeffrey Earnhardt's Xfinity Car Carries a Message of Hope

TGR Staff – 02/23/2022

Harvest Ministries, Pastor Greg Laurie, and ForeverLawn have announced their sponsorship of Jeffrey Earnhardt and the “Black and Green Grass Machine” at the Production Alliance Group 300, in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Our immediate thought was that ForeverLawn was a new cemetery for Greg Laurie’s “megachurch” in Riverside, California but it turns out it is a synthetic grass company.

Pastor Greg and Harvest were honored when ForeverLawn generously offered to let Harvest design a car for the race at Fontana Speedway, our design for the Number 26 car pays homage to the aesthetics of the original black and green grass machine ForeverLawn car, combined with Harvest style. This car will carry the message of hope in Jesus, while tens of thousands tune in from across the country to see Jeffrey Earnhardt race.

Earnhardt’s number 26 Toyota GR Supra will feature a livery designed by Harvest Ministries, ForeverLawn co-founder Dale Karmie connected with Pastor Greg Laurie after the tragic loss of his 20-year-old daughter Makenna in 2018. You can read the full story of how the Karmie’s found comfort and a connection through the church on Harvest.org. In 2020, ForeverLawn was poised to make its largest investment in advertising, by sponsoring Jeff Earnhardt in the Xfinity series, Dale decided to use the opportunity to also share his faith and as a way to thank Pastor Laurie for his support.

The number 26 would carry a message of hope and the Harvest logo, as a way to honor Makenna’s legacy on the rear bumper but this is the first livery designed by the team at Harvest.  It is the second race in ForeverLawn’s multi-race deal with Earnhardt and the Sam Hunt Racing team for the 2022 season.

The race will be streamed live from the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA, Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. EST on FS1.
