RM Auctions has some pretty amazing cars coming up at their March Amelia Island including this amazing 2006 Aston Martin DBRS9 the perfect car for a Gentleman Racer. Chassis no. DBRS9/7 includes the factory full race specification roll-cage and a tuned version of the 5.9L V12 engine to bring output up to 550 bhp.
The DBRS9 was built to race in FIA GT3 and other entry level GT racing series like the British GT Championship. While the cars were competitive the DBRS9 was never a champion but did take 2nd in both drivers and series championships over the years. No details about chassis number 7 have been released yet by RM Auctions, but it is a serious Gentleman’s race car and might prove to be a good value for the right buyer.
