Mike Satterfield Named U.S. Spokesperson for Historic Mexican Road Rally

The Rally Historico Transpeninsular, the premiere vintage road race of Baja California, is proud to announce it has named Mike Satterfield to the position of U.S. Spokesperson. Mike will spearhead public relations, marketing and B2B communications initiatives for the rally in the U.S. at events like the SEMA show.

Satterfield himself will be racing a one of a kind classic Austin Healey in the over 1,100-mile road race, Michael, along with his Co-Driver AJ Anderson will also be part of a film project about the race that will debut at the AutoMoto Film Festival during Monterey Car Week in 2015.

“We are so excited to be brought on board as part of the official media team for the Rally Historico Transpeninsular, it is going to be an epic adventure and I believe this will become an important event on the vintage automotive racing calendar,” said Satterfield.

Rally founder Pedro Vargas Valdez commented on the move: “It gives me great pleasure to introduce our good friend and editor for TheGentlemanRacer.com as our official United States Spokesperson. Mike is a multi-dimensional person who loves travel, cars and fine design in apparel and automobiles. He will be announcing and promoting our Road Race in the months leading to May 7th. which will mark the beginning of our adventure.”

Michael will be attending the SEMA show and is available for interviews about the Rally Historico Transpeninsular,  he will have materials to hand out to members of the press. He will also be hosting an official US Press Conference in San Diego in late November. More About the Rally Historico Transpeninsular:
The rally takes place on the transpeninsular highway, better known as Mexico 1. Restricted to historic race cars built before 1973 the three-day competition spans over 1,100 miles (1,700 kilometers), between Tijuana and Cabo San Lucas.  Over the two-lane blacktop of Mexico 1 through some of the most challenging roads and breathtaking scenery, the racers will take part in an amazing adventure.
