Aston Martin has unveiled the ultimate collectible to set your heart racing, as the iconic wings that have adorned its V8 Vantage GTEs for the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) are now available for sale as a limited-edition set.

Limited to 250 pieces worldwide, each collection is framed and includes all nine iconic ‘WEC’ wings badges mounted on a clean white mount. To ensure their authenticity, each case is individually numbered.

Incorporating the national colours of the countries Aston Martin Racing has competed in throughout the 2016 season, each piece has been handcrafted in Birmingham’s world-renowned Jewellery Quarter by established manufacturer Vaughtons.

Each enamelled wing takes a total of 20 hours to produce and is created using a combination of state-of-the-art CAD equipment and age-old Jewellery making machinery; some of which dates back over 120 years.

With this year’s WEC season finishing at next week’s title showdown in Bahrain on Saturday 19 November, Aston Martin Racing remains in the hunt for all GT competitions.

The Danish duo of Marco Sørensen and Nicki Thiim currently lead the GT Drivers and GTE Pro titles in their #95 V8 Vantage GTE, while Aston Martin Racing is also locked in an intense battle for overall GT Manufacturer honours.

Priced at £3,750 RRP (About $4,700 USD), these exclusive collectibles are available to order via the Aston Martin Online Store, Aston Martin dealers or the marque’s London Mayfair boutique at No. 8 Dover St.
