Fiat Abarth 124 Rally

TGR Staff – 05/11/2017

The adrenaline-fuelled Fiat Abarth 124 Rally will be among the star cars of the show when it makes its UK dynamic debut at this year’s Abarth Day next week (20 May), at Rockingham Speedway, Northamptonshire.

The two-seater 124 Rally, run by Team Bernini Rally will offer visitors the chance of hot lap passenger rides around the high-speed track. The 300hp rally car makes its on-track UK debut at the event and offers the opportunity for guests to see the expertise of the Bernini rally team.

The car will be joined at Abarth Day by the new Abarth 595 Trofeo, with its hi-tech Uconnect™ system which is able to map drivers’ on-track performance. The 595 Trofeo version is the latest addition to the brand’s striking 595 range, which was launched in the UK late 2016.

Among the features at Abarth Day will be an area dedicated to showing the brand’s modern vehicles, as well as one for classic cars and an Abarth VR Simulator Racing Challenge complementing an intensive and exciting program for fans. The event is open to all Abarth enthusiasts, whether they own a car or not. Abarth owners will have the chance to drive their own car on the track, following the purchase of a driver ticket.

“This will be a full day of Abarth-style activity for all,” says Gerry Southerington, brand manager, Abarth UK. “I’m looking forward to the event, which I believe will enable all Abarth fans to get their adrenaline going on the track while sharing their passion for the Scorpion brand.

“You don’t have to be an Abarth owner to attend – indeed, we welcome anyone who is interested in finding out more about Abarth and its exciting range of cars. ”
