There is always something cool popping up on eBay, and we just discovered some classic 80’s Dodge Shelby’s, but what makes these cars so unique, is that they are brand new, it still has the window sticker, MOS, and has never even been registered. Check it out HERE

Here is the seller’s description of the car:
Up
for grabs is a brand new, never registered, 1987 Shelby Lancer. The car
is #6 of 800 meaning that it was among the first Shelby Lancers to be
available to the public. Numbers 1 through 5 of all Shelby vehicles were
typically reserved for Chrysler Executives. Further more, there were
only 400 maunal Sehlby Lancers Produced! The car only has 22 miles on
it! It has all of the original Dealer and Manufacturing markings on it,
along with the original plastic on the seats and steering wheel. The
original battery (most likely will not hold a charge due to age) will
also be included. Also comes with original center caps and floor mats
which are in the rear hatch!  There are no flaws with the car
what-so-ever. The way it was on the showroom floor in 1987 is the way it
sits today!! This may be your only chance to own a true piece of
history. You will never find anything more rare and untouched than this!
It has never been registered and still has the Original Title from
Shelby Automobiles! It has always been stored indoors under a cover.
All original, All Documents, All Markings, No B.S. A True Museum worthy
piece of history!
The car is listed with a Buy It Now Price of $29,000

The second Shelby is a 1989 Dodge Dakota Shelby with the 318ci V8. It is also brand new and while it does have a buy it now of $29,000 it is currently bid up to just over $16,000 (reserve not met). Check it out HERE

Here is the Sellers description of the truck:

Up for grabs is a
brand new, never registered, 1989 Shelby Dakota. The truck is #6 of 1500
meaning that it was the first Shelby Dakota to be available to the
public. Numbers 1 through 5 of all Shelby vehicles were reserved for
Chrysler Executives. The truck only has 23 miles on it! It has all of
the original Dealer and Manufacturing markings on it, along with the
original plastic on the seats and steering wheel. You might ask why
there is no light bar? Well the first 50 Shelby Dakotas were delivered
without it and It is more original without it. The original battery
(most likely will not hold a charge due to age) will also be included.
There are no flaws with the Truck what-so-ever. The way it was on the
showroom floor in 1989 is the way it sits today!! This may be your only
chance to own a true piece of history. You will never find anything more
rare and untouched than this! It has never been registered and still
has the Original Title from Shelby Automobiles! It has always been
stored indoors under a cover.  All original, All Documents, All
Markings, No B.S. A True Museum worthy piece of history! I relisted the
vehicle due to previous winner backing out (wife wouldnt let him spend
the money). Im listing a buy it now for the same price as the last bid
placed.
Both are interesting bits of Shelby history, but and the market for collectable 80’s cars and trucks is slowly growing as guys in their 30’s dream of Fox Body Mustangs and Camaros with T-tops, the Dodge Shelby cars never have had a big following, but perhaps they will grow in popularity. If I was going to drop $30K on a Shelby on eBay there are several 08-09 GT500’s in that price range now and countless Shelby GT Mustangs, even a few really nice classic Shelby Clones. No matter what the 80’s Dodges will never have the romance and instant recognition of a Ford based Shelby, and do you really want to have to explain to everyone at a car show what your car is??
