Having been born and raised in Southern California, there are some days here in Texas that I miss the Golden State, then I quickly remember the traffic, taxes, and crazy government. So when my friend from California said he was starting a new candle company, California Handcrafted, inspired by my home state, I was excited to see what he had come up with.
Being from California, the candles are 100% vegan, natural soy-derived (non-GMO) from American-grown soybeans, using 100% cotton wicks, and natural phthalate-free essential oils. Each candle is hand-poured in Santa Clarita, California and each scent is inspired by an iconic California location.
The current collection features a lot of places I grew up with in Southern California and the scents really do capture the location. Big Bear reminds me of family trips to the cabin and Joshua Tree brings back fond memories of my days in the Boy Scouts exploring the deserts. The scents are masculine and clean, perfect for adding a great aroma and ambiance to your home or office.
