“My dad made me crazy about cars. He has always had modified cars with which we like to drive around and have always installed new things.”

Name: Andrea Ionescu
Car: SEAT Leon 1P

Location: Bavaria, Germany

Andrea’s SEAT Leon 1P is her first car, which she wasted no time in modifying. For our readers outside of Europe SEAT is a Spanish carmaker that was originally founded in 1950 by the Spanish Government but today is a subsidiary of Volkswagen and the Leon shares platforms with the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf. SEAT also has a long history in performance with three World Rally Championships and two FIA World Touring Car Championships.

Andrea chose the SEAT Leon 1P because her sister had one as her first car and because the broad aftermarket support meant there would be a lot of options for modifications. Growing up in a family that was passionate about cars, dad was always working on cars and taking her to car shows, sparked her own interest in customizing cars and she began modifying the Leon almost immediately after she bought it. The car’s nickname is Armageddon.

The car has the factory body kit from a SEAT Leon Copa Edition, H&R Monotube Suspension, Rotiform KPS 19“, Schroth Racing harnesses, a FOX exhaust and the car is wrapped in Matte Black Glitzer and Red glitter. Andrea is always making little additions to the car and her and friends have done the majority of the modifications to the car, future plans include air-ride suspension, and adding more power.

Check out more photos below and be sure to follow Andrea’s car adventures on Instagram or on the car’s Facebook page Project Seat Leon 1p Armageddon.
