Lamborghini has announced a new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program for cars sold through authorized Lamborghini dealer and service center network worldwide, called Selezione Lamborghini. Like other CPO programs, the Lamborghini will put cars through a rigid inspection process with any work carried out by trained Lamborghini technicians, using genuine Lamborghini parts.

“This is an important new program to support the growing volume of pre-owned Lamborghini cars sold through the authorized dealer network,” said Automobili Lamborghini Chief Commercial Officer, Federico Foschini. “In line with our growing production volumes, an increasing number of clients are deciding to buy into the Lamborghini marque, both new and pre-owned models. Today Lamborghini is recognized as a benchmark in the segment in terms of quality and exclusivity. The purpose of Selezione Lamborghini is to now make these standards also available for those who want to take the first significant step into the Lamborghini world with the purchase of a pre-owned Lamborghini.”

To qualify a car can have no more than 43,500 miles for the super sports cars and 62,000 miles for Urus, over no more than 84 months of use and 120 months for Urus. Cars must also have complete service records showing that all scheduled maintenance has been performed as well as passing a 150 point inspection covering both exterior and interior features of the car, mechanics, electronics, tires, rims and brakes. Full diagnostic and road tests are also carried out on the pre-owned car before it is sold.

Selezione Lamborghini will come with a minimum 12-month warranty, with the option to purchased an additional 12-months. The warranty covers both parts and labor and is transferrable, at no charge, to a new owner if the car is sold in that time period. Buyers also get roadside assistance comparable to new Lamborghinis for the duration of the warranty.

Selezione Lamborghini has been launched in the USA in February 2019, with roll-out across the world during 2019 according to country specifics.
