Between the front passengers is a 12-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It works well enough, but it isn’t class-leading. Climate controls and volume are still sliders, which are not as intuitive to use as regular buttons.

Steering felt a little heavier than expected and a bit clumsy. Still, the Atlas is comfortable, even on the all-terrain tires for the Peak Edition. Various drive modes include Eco, Normal, Comfort, Sport, and Custom. During my time, I found Comfort to be a good balance. Expect around 20-22 MPG in mixed driving. Safety comes in the form of a reversing camera, lane change assist, rear traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
