Gesswein Motors’ slogan was “It’s Worth The Drive,” located in Milbank, South Dakota, the small-town dealership was started by Jim Gesswein with a loan from his uncle. Jim was enterprising and would ship cars to customers not just across the US, but around the world, selling both new and classic cars. While Jim would ship classic cars to collectors all over the world, he always kept the most interesting cars for himself, amassing a collection that includes rare classics like the 1970 Plymouth Superbird and the 1963 Chrysler Pacesetter Conv. Indy Pace Car, 1970 Plymouth GTX, and many more.

54 cars will be auctioned off on July 18th, 2020, at the Dealership in Milbank, South Dakota. The auction will be one of the first on-site events in the U.S. since the COVID-19 outbreak. Hosted by VanDerBrink Auctions, buyers can bid in person, online, or by phone. For more information on the auction and the full catalog, visit vanderbrinkauctions.com.
