Scooters of Tokyo

In Tokyo, space is at a premium, and with tight alley-like roads, traffic-packed main thoroughfares, and limited parking, the scooter is the vehicle of choice for many in Japan’s capital city. Unlike in the US, where scooters are seen more as a fun weekend toy or something to rent at a beach resort for a weekend, in Tokyo, scooters are used for everything from daily commuting to delivery services. Here are a few of the unique scooters I snapped on my recent trip to Tokyo.
