Checkmyride.com is a new site that helps answer that question…whatever happened to my old car. With this website all you have to do is enter your old cars VIN and !!BAM!! it gives you the last known area the car was registered in. No it does not give you a name or address, but the social network feature could allow the current owner to get in touch with you.

Check My Ride from Auto Check is a social network for cars, allowing you to build a profile, add vehicles, find your old rides and connect with their current owners (provided they are a member). You can also import some of the data into Facebook and get a free history report on your current car.
