Body Double: Zagato Perana Z-One

We like just about everything Zagato does, but the Perana Z-One just stinks of a 60’s Fiberglass Kit Car to us. Not that I don’t love Kit Cars, but there is something about the Parana. It looks like a modern rendition of the Fiberfab Jamaican. Both are Corvette-based, both have over-the-top scoops, and both look pretty good for their time. Kit Car manufacturer and distributor Superformance will be offering these Zagato-bodied Vette-powered cars to the USA… while the car is striking, the pricing is up near Audi R8, Aston Martin, 911, GTR… the list goes on and on. If you want a sporty Corvette-powered car, pick up the Jamaican, they are about $1,500 on eBay….
