Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) has announced an exciting season-long sponsorship and research collaboration with Phillips 66 Lubricants aimed at pushing performance boundaries both on and off the track.
This partnership will focus on developing a bespoke engine oil formula tailored for the Acura ARX-06, Honda’s cutting-edge competitor in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. With Phillips 66 already serving as the official oil supplier for Honda and Acura service centers, this collaboration deepens its connection to the Acura brand while advancing performance technologies.
Leveraging the Acura ARX-06 as a “rolling laboratory,” HRC US and Phillips 66 Lubricants will refine oil blends that enhance performance for both racing and production vehicles. The partnership highlights the synergy between competition and innovation, where track-tested advancements will ultimately benefit Acura road car owners.

Acura ARX-06 takes on IMSA with Phillips 66 Lubricants
Fans of the IMSA series will see the #93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing ARX-06 carry Phillips 66 Lubricants branding throughout the season. Both Acura GTP entries—the #93 and #60—will benefit from Phillips 66 Lubricants’ expertise as the teams aim to dominate the highly competitive hybrid electrified racing category.
This partnership aligns with HRC US’s expanded role within the series. In addition to its work as a manufacturer, HRC US will take on greater operational responsibilities, further developing talent, technology, and strategies for the future of hybrid racing.
On the business front, HRC US is growing its presence with sponsorship initiatives, B2B collaborations, accessories, and planned merchandise, reflecting a holistic approach to motorsport operations. While HRC US engineers will directly manage the #93 Acura ARX-06, Acura Meyer Shank Racing will continue to oversee the #60 entry.
This deal signals more than just a partnership—it’s a commitment to innovation, precision, and excellence, both on the track and in the products that fuel the Honda and Acura legacy.
