Marcello Gandini, the legendary automotive designer, has passed away at the age of 85. Gandini was known for his remarkable design work for some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, including Lamborghini, Lancia, and Bugatti.
Gandini’s designs were renowned for their avant-garde and futuristic styling, and he was responsible for creating some of the most iconic cars of all time. His most famous design was the Lamborghini Countach, which became an instant classic and an enduring symbol of automotive excellence.
Over the course of his career, Gandini designed countless other stunning cars, including the Lancia Stratos, the Bugatti EB 110, and the Lamborghini Miura. His innovative designs helped to shape the automotive industry and set new standards for style and performance.
Gandini’s contributions to the world of automotive design will be sorely missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire generations of designers and car enthusiasts for years to come. Rest in peace, Marcello Gandini.
