Maserati unveils its first Fuoriserie Essentials collection with David Beckham

TGR Staff – 06/15/2023

Maserati has released the Fuoriserie Essentials, an exquisite collection of curated cars crafted by renowned tastemakers and esteemed friends of the Trident brand. Leading the way is style pioneer and global brand ambassador, David Beckham, who has designed the inaugural collection. Beckham’s vision aims to inspire car enthusiasts who seek to express their unique, personalized concept of the ultimate Italian luxury sports car.

Drawing inspiration from his admiration for Maserati’s classic automobiles and taking cues from his Savile Row sartorial wardrobe, David Beckham has created his Fuoriserie DB Essentials collection. This collection features two distinct car configurations that showcase his contemporary reinterpretation of some of the Trident’s most iconic models.

Enthralled by the timeless allure of the 1967 Maserati Ghibli coupé, Beckham has chosen a captivating ‘Night Interaction’ blue hue for the exteriors of his first DB Essentials vehicle, beautifully complemented by tan leather interiors. For his second configuration, he pays homage to the rare and prestigious 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale, of which only 51 were produced. The exterior is adorned with the distinguished ‘Verde Royale’ paint color, a deep green shade that harmonizes elegantly with warm brown leather upholstery. To commemorate the collaboration between Maserati and David Beckham, an exclusive metal plate is affixed to the central tunnel between the front seats or between the two headrests, symbolizing the union of these iconic brands.

The Fuoriserie DB Essentials collection by David Beckham is a testament to the fusion of automotive excellence and individual expression. It showcases Maserati’s commitment to crafting bespoke luxury vehicles that encapsulate the desires and aspirations of discerning car enthusiasts worldwide.

“Fuoriserie means “custom-built” in Italian, and our Trident’s customization program is conceived to create singular experiences for our clients.  Our wish here is for them to express their personality and passion by creating their very own Maserati. Just like David, everyone can choose from a wide range of personalization features from our Fuoriserie Corse collection, inspired by Maserati’s glorious racing heritage, and from our Fuoriserie Futura collection, dedicated to lovers of technology and new materials,” said Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design.

Both Fuoriserie DB Essentials configurations are now available upon request for the MC20 super sports car – which combines performance, sportiness, and luxury to its racing soul – as well as the all-new ‘everyday exceptional’ Grecale SUV – which strikes the right balance between versatility, elegance, and performance.
