Watches of The Masters

I have become nominally interested in golf as of late, mainly due to being invited to play for a number of social and business reasons that have compelled me to take it a little more seriously. So, while watching the masters this weekend, attempting to absorb as much as I could, the watches the players wore captured my attention. Rolex is the largest and most involved sponsor, but a few other unique watches stood out. Here are the watches of the Masters:

Tiger Woods:
Rolex Deepsea Reference Number: 116660

Tiger Wood Rolex, the watches of the Masters

Tiger has worked with a number of watch brands over the years, in the 90s he was a Tudor ambassador, in the early 2000s he switched over to Tag Heuer as a spokesman, but since 2011 he has been with Rolex and the Deepsea Sea-Dweller with a black dial has been his watch of choice.

Collin Morikawa
Omega Speedmaster ’57 CO-AXIAL Chronograph Reference Number 331.10.42.51.01.001

Since 2020 Collin has been an Omega brand ambassador and has been spotted wearing a stainless steel and gold Omega Seamaster 300, but is most often seen wearing the classic stainless steel Omega Speedmaster ’57 that he wore this weekend.

Brooks Koepka:
Rolex Daytona Reference 116500LN

Brooks has been with Rolex for years and has been spotted wearing several great watches from the Rolex catalog including an Everose Gold Sky-Dweller and a Sea-Dweller, but for the Masters, he was spotted wearing one of our favorite watches the Panda Daytona.

Bubba Watson:
Richard Mille RM 38-02 Bubba Watson Limited Edition

The RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson is the fourth watch of the collection bearing Bubba’s name over the sportsman’s 10 years with the Richard Mille family. Produced in a numbered limited edition of 50 pieces, it is pretty much the watchmaking equivalent of a hole in one.

Bubba Watson has had a decade-long relationship with Richard Mille and this watch is the fourth watch to bear his name during their partnership. This seven-figure watch is limited to just 50 pieces so if you really wanted a pink watch, you better act fast.

Viktor Hovland:
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Reference Number 26579CB.OO.1225CB.01
Viktor Hovland: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Reference Number 26579CB.OO.1225CB.01
Since 2019 Viktor Hovland has been part of the Audemars Piguet golf family, while he rotates through several different watches from the Swiss brand, at the Masters he was spotted in a white ceramic and blue Royal Oak.
Jon Rahm:
Rolex Sky-Dweller Reference Number 326934-0003
John Rahm: Rolex Sky-Dweller Reference Number 326934

Another Rolex golf ambassador John has been seen in Daytonas and “Pepsi” bezel GMT Master II models, but for most of 2023 he has been spotted in the same stainless steel with blue dial Sky-Dweller he was wearing this weekend at the Masters.
