We have had many pocket knives come through the office for review over the years. Still, none of them were so universally loved by all our staff as the Solstice by Ocaso, which is promoted as a premium gentleman’s everyday carry knife. The founder of Ocaso Rick Valdez spent 20 years working in the knife industry before launching out on his own and creating the Ocasio brand. His goal was to create the highest quality production knives, that can be used in the office or outdoors.

Made with premium materials like carbon fiber, titanium, and s35vn stainless steel, the Solstice feels amazing in your hand and is comfortable and lightweight in your pocket. Designed by custom knifemaker Andrew Demko and produced in a state-of-the-art factory in Taiwan the Solstice is as well made as it is elegant.

We especially liked the carbon fiber versions, the attention to detail in the carbon fiber is at McLaren level, and what car enthusiast doesn’t love a little bit of carbon fiber. The knife opens cleanly and quickly and folds without drama, the clip is long enough to keep it in place, but not so long that it is obvious you are carrying a picket knife.

For those looking for something extra special the Damascus Solstice combines German Damascus steel with forged carbon fiber for a truly special look made in Italy.

 Solstice Carbon Fiber Handle $210

Solstice Satin Titanium  $230

Solstice Black Titanium $245

Solstice Damascus $340
