G2 Motorsports Park Outside of Dallas Near Completion

G2 Motorsport Park, in North Collin County (just outside of Dallas, Texas) is nearing completion. The motorsports country club is will boast, a luxury club out, garage condos, and an F1-type pit road with garages, all centered around a Bob Barnard-designed race track. Recent videos on the official G2 YouTube channel for the track show major construction happening including the curbs being poured on track, tours with founding members, and a full drone tour of the track layout.

The club will offer a 1.9-mile and 1.2-mile track that can be connected to create a 3.1-mile road course that includes corners modeled after famous race tracks like the “Carousel” corner on the Nürburgring and the famous Mosport Park turns 5A and 5B. The track will be open to members with cars and motorcycles. 

Plans for the track show a large central clubhouse, seven residential car condominium buildings, and an onsite car storage facility that can accommodate 250 cars. For those who don’t purchase a car condo, the clubhouse will feature locker rooms, racing simulators, and a banquet hall.

According to the management team’s press release: 

  • Track Paving is scheduled for completion by end of September,.  
  • Paddock paving is scheduled for completion by mid-October.
  • Guardrails in place by End of October.  
  • Pit lane garages complete by early November.
  • Member Clubhouse completed by December.
  • Official opening January 2023 for members and condo owners.  

The man behind the track is 3 time National Champion World Challenge driver, Lou Gigliotti, whose incredible career includes wins at the Dallas GP World challenge, the Trans Am at Long Beach GP, the Lime Rock GP Plus Grand Am – Daytona Paul Revere 250 in class and other historic race events.
