Just in time for the holiday season, BMW Motorrad and the LEGO Group have unveiled the highly detailed LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR. This 1:5 scale LEGO superbike is a must-have for motorcycle enthusiasts and LEGO collectors alike. Slated for release on January 1, 2022, this intricate model consists of 1,920 pieces and measures nearly 18 inches long when fully assembled.

The LEGO BMW M 1000 RR is packed with realistic features, including a fully functional three-speed gearbox, an upside-down front fork, and a rear swingarm with working suspension. Additional highlights include a gold-colored drive chain, a dashboard with three display options, a paddock wheel stand, and a pit board, adding to the model’s authenticity.
This new LEGO Technic model continues the successful partnership between BMW Motorrad and LEGO, allowing fans to build the first-ever BMW M motorcycle in LEGO form. Like the real BMW M 1000 RR, this miniature version showcases technical precision and attention to detail.
Samuel Tacchi, designer at the LEGO Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the project:
“It’s been so much fun getting underneath the skin of such a significant model for BMW Motorrad. There’s a reason why these beautifully engineered bikes are so universally loved by the biking community, and we are confident our LEGO Technic version is a winner like its real-life namesake.”
