Vasek Polak, was a racing driver, car collector, team owner, and the first exclusive Porsche dealer in North America, He was also the master mechanic behind famed motorsports legends from Jack McAfee, George Follmer, and Hurley Haywood to Jerry Titus, Milt Minter, and many more. In addition to a forthcoming new tabletop book scheduled to be released for 2022, the Vasek Polak Collection will offer limited edition prints, accessories, and other collectibles from the early days of the famed #88 Spyder to the numerous 917s, 934, and 935 models. 

According to Maurie Polak, co-founder of the Vasek Polak Collection, her grandfather Vasek Polak’s storied past in Porsche and motorsports began in the late 1950s when he started his own repair shop in Manhattan Beach, Calif., which in 1959 expanded into the first stand-alone Porsche dealership in the United States.

Those that follow the Vasek Polak Collection online and subscribe to its newsletter, will have early access to the new online store and limited-edition offerings, beginning Tuesday, November 30th – while the online store will go live to the public on the following day, December 1st. The collection includes #88 key fobs, pins and patches, and limited-edition license plate frames, to framed photographs depicting the origins of Vasek Polak, his cars, and his winning #88 Spyder.

Separately, Maurie Polak and her father Vasek, son of Vasek Polak Sr, will be attending and displaying at the upcoming 2022 Porsche and Vintage VW Literature, Toy, Model, and Memorabilia Swap Meet on February 26th, 2022.  Collectibles from the Vasek Polak Collection will be available for sale during the 38th annual event, at the Airport Hilton near Los Angeles International Airport.
