TGR's 2021 Holiday Wine Guide

 by Michael Satterfield - 11/07/2021

The holiday season is here and for many of us, it will be the first time we will be spending with family and friends since the events of 2020 literally canceled Christmas for so many of us. Regardless if you are hosting an event or just looking for the perfect bottle of wine for a gift, our team has put together a great list of wines perfect for any budget or occasion. Each one of these wines was selected for its quality, value, and unique characteristics.

The rich notes of cherry strawberries and blackberry are balanced with the earthy notes of black tea, dried tobacco, and olive. A smooth oaky finish makes this an excellent pairing with roasted chicken or duck.

A light and airy chardonnay that starts with notes of peaches, apricots, and honeycomb with a hint of citrus. Perfect with seafood or baked chicken.

This was the first wine we have tried from Kozovo and it is easy to see why Stone Castle (Gecaj Estate) is the leading vineyard in the area.  Pairs with steak or beef stew.
