Dutch firm Heritage Customs has unveiled their latest project, a custom Land Rover Defender built from the ground up, featuring exquisite attention to detail, jewelry quality milled parts, and a bespoke handcrafted interior. What started out as a standard 2008 Land Rover Defender has been reworked inside and out through a process Heritage Customs likes to call "architecture."
Featuring soft green metallic paint, redesign bonnet vents, Nubuck leather seats, and a teak wood cargo floor, make this Defender stand out over its stock counterparts. Extra-wide color-matched steel wheels, a fitted canvas top, and custom bumpers, side steps, and lighting further complete the package, that updates this timeless design without changing the unique charm of the iconic vehicle.
Projects like this start at around $48,500, plus the base vehicle and take 1 to 5 months depending on how complicated the build is. All projects are bespoke to the client and start out with a meeting and sketch allowing the customer and designer Niels van Roij to create a unique vision.
