Santo Gallery X Magnus Walker

by Michael Satterfield

Magnus Walker has partnered with Santo Gallery and photographer Daniel Malikyar to release a series of images that capture the most ionic Porsches in Magnus Walker’s collection. The theme of the photo series is “motion” as Daniel attempts to share new perspectives on some of the most photographed Porsches in the USA. Captured around the Los Angeles area, with unpermitted shoots in the LA River and avoiding the police while shooting in downtown LA.

Magnus Walker was catapulted to fame when his documentary Urban Outlaw went viral featuring his signature 277 car. Magnus has gone on to build a brand around his Urban Outlaw persona including a line of Hot Wheels, MOMO Steering Wheels, Books, and more. This is the first fine art photography collection that Walker has released featuring his collection of unique Porsches.

At first glance, Kate Cook’s artwork might seem like a paradox—a seamless blend of classic oil painting techniques with the high-octane world of automotive enamels. Her signature approach, which she calls "Artemotiv," merges the meticulous craftsmanship of fine art with the raw energy of hot rods and muscle cars.
