BMW x Kith Sells out in less than 30 minutes

BMW has partnered with New York streetwear brand Kith to release not only a BMW-themed fashion collection but a special edition BMW M4 Competition designed by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, that will be limited to 150 units worldwide. Fieg, a lifelong BMW enthusiast also worked his design magic on his own personal E40 BMW M3 creating 1-of-1 M3 Kith Edition. 

Both cars share similar design elements that reflect the style of the new Kith for BMW Collection available exclusively through Kith retail location and online beginning October 23. The collection, featuring 94 styles of apparel and accessories inspired by BMW.

Everything we work on at Kith has to come from an authentic place. Some of my favorite memories from growing up came from going to visit my grandfather and riding around in his BMWs in the 1980s. I remember he had an E21 320i and that his prized possession was a white E30 M3. These moments in my life really shaped my passion for BMW, so working on this project with them has brought everything full circle.

The M4 Competition x Kith is offered in matte finishes of Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Silver, and Frozen Brilliant White. Buyers will also get a number of Kith badges and logos on the car including the massive “Kith M” logo on the roof. Outside of the visual changes, the car is mechanically the same as any other M4 Competition Coupe which has a base price of $75,695, the Kith edition will cost $109,250 plus destination and handling fees. Pre-orders sold out in about 30 minutes but buyers will have to wait for a while as the BMW M4 Competition x Kith won’t arrive in 2021 as the model year 2022 vehicle.

UPDATE: The Majority of the clothing collection is also sold out.
