The final doze McLaren 600LT Spiders have arrived for the North American market, each sporting a unique Segestria Borealis design theme created by the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) team. According to McLaren, the details are inspired by one of Europe’s largest venomous spiders. The Segestria Florentina, better known as the Cellar Spider, which is all black with the exception of two stripes of iridescent green along the spider’s fangs.

The green fangs of the spider are mimicked in the Napier Green stripes that run from the nose of the car to the top-exit exhausts at the tail. The Borealis black paint hides a deep green, purple, and claret undertones under shifting light. In addition to the color-shifting paint and stripes, each car gets MSO Bespoke Napier Green brake calipers, 10-spoke lightweight gloss black forged wheels, a web motif in Napier Green on the rear wing and door mirrors, and pinstripe detailing on front fenders, side skirts, and rear diffuser vanes. The package also includes the MSO Clubsport Pack, which features super-lightweight carbon-fiber racing seats, a carbon-fiber interior upgrade, lightweight titanium wheel bolts, and carbon-fiber front fender louvers.

The McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis by MSO is a singular example of the visionary, creative approach to the artistry of McLaren Special Operations. Like any 600LT, it is a purposeful, single-minded and menacing creation, but in this instance, all the power and performance of this supercar is expressed in a unique and striking design scheme that fits with the desire of many McLaren owners to personalize their cars to make them truly their own.

The cockpit features bright green stitching and webbing design to the Alcantara trimmed racing seats, unique headrest embroidery, steering wheel stitching, and 12 o’clock highlight mark. The high-performance Bowers and Wilkins 12 speaker audio system; McLaren Track Telemetry; rearview camera and parking sensors, volumetric alarm upgrade, and vehicle nose lift are also all included.

Like all McLaren 600LTs, the Segestria Borealis by MSO features a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 592bhp and 457lb ft of torque, enabling 0-60mph acceleration in a blistering 2.8 seconds. Performance is further enhanced by both the lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork that creates the Longtail silhouette and the fixed rear wing, which generates 220.5lbs of downforce at 155mph. Keeping all that power on the ground are bespoke, track-focused Pirelli P- Zero™ Trofeo R tires.

The McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis by MSO was given the nickname of ‘Spider Spider’ and is available to purchase now from select McLaren Retailers.
