Since 2009, Angeleno Rob Dickinson and his team of automotive artisans at Singer Vehicle Design have been producing what many have argued is the ultimate expression of the Porsche 911. Each car is redesigned from the ground up, with each car being taken down to the bare metal, the majority of the body is replaced with carbon-fiber, including the front and rear fenders, bumpers, bonnet, and engine decklid.

Each Singer pulls elements from Porsche 911s from the 60s-90s to create the purest Porsche 911 experience for the driver, both visually and behind the wheel. While there are a few standard specifications owners must select when ordering their car, body style, engine, etc.. the rest of the car is a bespoke creation, and no two cars are alike.

This car, being offered by RM Sotheby’s Private Sale, is Singer number 71 better known as “Malibu.” Powered by an Ed Pink Racing Engines 4.0-liter flat-six, it produces 390hp with 315 ft-lbs of torque. According to Singer, this car boasts a 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds and can get to 100 mph in just 8.2 seconds. Brembo brakes, Öhlins adjustable suspension, and the optional exposed center-fill fuel cap and oil filler, pay homage to the 1972 911s. This car was also ordered with the optional lightweight carbon-fiber roof.

Malibu is finished in Mintarrini over tan leather Recaro Sports seats with Alabaster stitching. Fitted with air-conditioning, upgraded Becker stereo with iPod connect, and subwoofer. It has done less than 1,500 miles since being completed by Singer in 2016.

This car is being offered at $875,000 with a clean US title, for more visit the full listing at RMSothebys.com.
