Banton Frameworks

Having worn glasses since my late teens, I have owned dozens of pairs over the years from major designer brands to inexpensive mail-order glasses, none of them have had the feel of the Banton Frameworks frames. We get lots of products shipped to the office, most never make it on the site, but every once in a while something arrives that is so special, I just have to share it. The quality and craftsmanship are apparent from the moment you put the glasses on, they just feel better.

Most major brands are manufactured by one company and most online companies offering glasses are simply putting their name on generic glasses made in bulk in China, Banton Frameworks does neither. Banton Frameworks handmakes every pair of glasses in Scotland and there is a good chance that co-founder Lucy Ross or Jamie Bartlett have had a hand in personally making them. The collection is mostly made up of Banton’s own twist on timeless sunglass styles, that at first glance seem familiar, but upon closer inspection are their own unique design.

While you can buy acetate framed glasses for less, the attention to detail and finish are what sets Banton Frameworks apart, at a price that surprisingly on par with mass-produced glasses from major brands you might find at your local mall sunglass store. Ordering online is easy with a virtual mirror that allows you to try on glasses using your webcam, and prescription lenses are available.

If you are looking for a new set of shades for the summer Banton Frameworks should be on your shortlist of glasses to consider. You can shop Banton Frameworks or learn more at at BantonFrameworks.co.uk.
