Lamborghini hosted A Dreamscape of Italian Design at The Wolfsonian-FIU museum in Miami’s Art Deco district as part of Art Basel Miami beach. The invite-only VIP event celebrated Italian design including a 1968 Lamborghini Miura which was surrounded by period photos sourced from Lamborghini’s extensive archives in Italy.

We are proud to continue our collaboration with Lamborghini on the occasion of Art Basel Miami Beach, Lamborghini represents the perfect symbol of the beautiful and well-crafted Made in Italy, ‘il Bello e il Ben Fatto Italiano’. The aesthetics of an Italian high-end product like that of a super sports car derives from centuries of culture enriched by state-of-the-art technology and a perfect match between tradition and innovation.

Produced from 1966-1973 the Muira is lauded as the world’s first supercar, pioneering rear-mid-engine sports cars that redefined the category. Designed by Marcello Gandini, the Miura is one of Italy’s most renowned automotive treasures.

At first glance, Kate Cook’s artwork might seem like a paradox—a seamless blend of classic oil painting techniques with the high-octane world of automotive enamels. Her signature approach, which she calls "Artemotiv," merges the meticulous craftsmanship of fine art with the raw energy of hot rods and muscle cars. But spend a few minutes with Cook, and the paradox resolves itself into something more profound: an artist who has not only found her lane but paved it herself.
