Savvy travelers headed to Art Basel in Miami this year are first heading to nearby Palm Beach County for the annual Palm Beach Prelude, which will take over the region from November 29 through December 2. Massive outdoor murals, exhibition openings, festivals, special events and more await art lovers seeking to experience firsthand why the region is considered Florida’s Cultural Capital®. After the festivities, travelers can experience the convenience of high-speed rail with the newly launched Brightline service from West Palm Beach to Miami.

What: Exhibition – Downton Abbey

Description: Experience the history, the fashion and the house of Downton Abbey: The Exhibition. Description: Technology is all around us, and the Cornell Art Museum is exploring the way that tech has influenced contemporary art with its newest exhibition, “Tech Effect.” The show features about 12 artists whose work deals with technology in some way. Museum visitors will be fascinated by augmented reality works, interactive touch screen works, the prevalence of social media in contemporary art, artwork that utilizes code, and countless ways that technology is integrated into contemporary art.
