Leading luxury dealer group H.R. Owen has handed over a unique heritage-inspired Ferrari 812 Superfast to a customer. The stunning blue and white livery evoke the legendary 250 SWB driven to victory by Sir Stirling Moss at Goodwood, Nassau, Brands Hatch and Silverstone.

Inspired by the exploits of Sir Stirling in the Rob Walker 250 SWB Berlinetta Competizione during the early ‘60s, the car is finished in a matte Blu Scozia Opaco with white highlights. The stripe across the bonnet and white roundels are a thoroughly modern interpretation of one of the most recognizable Ferrari racing cars of all time.

Powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine that unleashes 800hp, the 812 Superfast is the new benchmark in the mid-front-engined sports car segment, achieving maximum power output at 8,500 rpm.

H.R. Owen CEO, Ken Choo, said: “Ferrari has such an incredible history, both on the road and on the track, so we applaud this customer’s choice in evoking an iconic livery for his 812 Superfast. It’s fitting that this design was first seen on a V12 Berlinetta Ferrari in the early ‘60s and here – more than 55 years later – we see it on a car that can trace its V12 lineage right back to the 250 SWB and beyond.”

H.R. Owen Ferrari was awarded Global Ferrari Dealer of the Year in 2016 and offers Europe’s largest Ferrari Technical Centre, recently awarded Classiche status. It also runs the only Ferrari-approved boutique of its kind, the ‘Atelier’ in Knightsbridge.
