Out past the edge of the Salton Sea, guarding the entrance to Slab City sits Salvation Mountain. One man’s mission to share his faith and art with the world, and an attraction that draws visitors from around the world. In addition to his man-made mountain, tunnels, and caves, Leonard Knight (1931–2014)  decorated cars, trucks, and even an old Airstream. Exploring the site with model and actress Anemone Jones was a great way to spend an afternoon. If you want to plan your own visit click here for a map.
