Renowned Florentine shoemaker Stefano Bemer is proud to announce a new line of custom-made driving shoes. Handcrafted from the finest materials (including exotics, upon request), Stefano Bemer designed the special custom footwear for versatility, producing an incredibly elegant leather-soled driving shoe just as comfortable on the track as it is out on the town. Long known for exquisitely made bespoke dress shoes, Stefano Bemer will premiere the new driving styles as part of the Car Week events in Monterey and the surrounding area.

“These shoes are not only fantastic for improving pedal feel, but stylish too,” comments Stefano Bemer CEO Tommaso Melani. “The design features a rubber over-heel with a leather sole. This keeps the foot arch supported in a way that greatly improves foot sensitivity on the pedals. We wanted to make a true gentlemen’s driving shoe that tastefully adds the modern design aspects required to keep feet nimble during a long day at the track. Very old school, yet modern.”

Long known for their outstanding commitment to quality, Stefano Bemer allows discriminating customers to choose from a sweeping range of premium materials, including some of the rarest leathers and hides in the world. As with all bespoke Stefano Bemer shoes, clients are welcome to work with the company’s classically trained cobblers to match almost any color or detail from their favorite track car such as upholstery or racing livery.

“The best part is that Stefano Bemer applies our bespoke approach to shoemaking with these new driving shoes,” continues Melani. “Historically, our company is quite pleased to fulfill even the most unique requests to make truly one-of-a-kind footwear for our clients. We can tastefully incorporate almost any aspect of a client’s automobile into a design. It’s these small touches that really make an impression.”

Price starts at $600 USD for the three pictured styles, including a gray kudu Derby model and two Oxford model versions available in Museum Calf (here featured in a tasteful brown and in London Smoke). Stefano Bemer will be showcasing the new driving shoes at the Werks Reunion event Friday, August 24, at Corral de Tierra while appearing at other select events throughout Car Week.
