The Citizen Tsuno Chronograph Racer, a reimagining of the brand’s 1972 Challenge Timer series combines classic style with modern technology. Citizen celebrates its centennial by bringing history forward with a reintroduction from its iconic Chronograph Challenge Timer collection. In late 1972, Citizen conceptualized an automatic Chronograph Challenge Timer featured in stainless steel with a “bullhead” structure.

The Original Tsuno Chrono

This model later resulted in the launch of the Tsuno Chrono (Japanese “horned chronograph”) in early 1973. This timepiece held core competencies, that would later inspire the Promaster collection with a focus on the three areas of air, land, and sea. The new Tsuno Chronograph Racer includes a hand-assembled movement featuring the brand’s signature Eco-Drive technology. Showcasing a bullhead structure with the crown and chronograph pushers located at the top of a 45MM case, the watch has a 1/5th of a second flyback chronograph, tachymeter, alarm, and date window, complete with a domed sapphire crystal and luminous hands and markers.

The Tsuno Chronograph Racer comes in three styles, Stainless, Black & Red, and Brown.

Prices range from $795-$895 set to be released fall 2018.
