It is likely that you have never heard of the SureFire brand of flashlights, but for over thirty years, SureFire has been providing tactical lighting solutions for military, law enforcement, and sportsmen who push the limits of their equipment every day. Lucky for us SureFire has been bringing more and more of their innovative lighting technology to products that can be used every day, while still retaining their cutting edge technology and military grade quality that’s made in the USA.

Recently SureFire introduced the Sidekick, a premium ultra-compact flashlight that packs a lot of light, in a rugged, weather resistant, and light-weight package about the size of your average car key fob. I have to say I have had many compact flashlights over the years, for camping, working on cars, or just in case of an emergency, the concept of a “premium flashlight” sounded a little far-fetched, however, once I tried it, felt the quality, and saw how the multi-mode lighting feature offered amazing lighting in such a small package I was sold.

While the MSRP of $79.99 seems like a lot of money for a small flashlight, like any tool you really do get what you pay for, but for my readers, SureFire is offering a special discount code giving you 50% for a limited time, check out more on that below.

I laid the SureFire Sidekick out with some of my everyday carry items to show just how small it really is.

The SureFire has three levels of lighting, 300, 60, or 5 lumens and provides 1.25 hours of illumination on high, 4 hours on medium, and 45 hours on low. The Sidekick is also rechargeable with a standard USB micro-B plug on the flashlight and type-A to plug into a standard USB charger, allowing for recharging almost anywhere.

Check out the video below to see how much light the SideKick really puts out.

The Sidekick is not for everyone but is for those who want the best and demand quality. The SureFire Sidekick has become part of my everyday carry and will be part of all of my future adventures. With father’s day just around the corner, the SideKick makes a great gift for the man in your life.

For a limited while supplies last, SureFire is offering my readers 50% off when you use promo code ‘racer’ at checkout. Visit DiscoverSureFire.com and use promo code ‘racer’ to get your own Sidekick for just $39.99*.

*offer valid until May, 29th, 2018 if supplies last.

At first glance, Kate Cook’s artwork might seem like a paradox—a seamless blend of classic oil painting techniques with the high-octane world of automotive enamels. Her signature approach, which she calls "Artemotiv," merges the meticulous craftsmanship of fine art with the raw energy of hot rods and muscle cars. But spend a few minutes with Cook, and the paradox resolves itself into something more profound: an artist who has not only found her lane but paved it herself.
