Police Have A New Tool To Stop Pursuits

Southern California is the capital of police pursuits, it has become somewhat of a sport with TV stations covering them live. But a creative guy has come up with an interesting and simple solution to the problem of stopping fleeing suspects. His invention is a deployable tether that wraps around a suspect’s rear tire, locking it up, the officer can then brake and essentially hold the vehicle. It looks pretty cool and is honestly a lot less dangerous than pit maneuvers that are currently used to end many pursuits. Check out the video below to see it in action.
