1967 was the first year of the GT500 range of Shelby Mustangs, the GT500 was the big block brother of the GT350. Powered by a 355hp, 428 cubic-inch V8, and offered with a three-speed automatic or a four-speed manual the GT500 was at the top of the heap of mid-60s muscle cars.
This particular car chassis number 2745 is being offered by Vernon Estes Classics and boasts rare options like factory air conditioning and is painted a desirable Acapulco Blue. The car has been treated to a Concours restoration by one of the leading authorities on Shelby Mustangs. For more information or to inquire about the car visit Vernon Estes Classics.
